HCA Academy and the Care Certificate

The HCA Academy is our induction programme for all new Healthcare Assistants/Healthcare Support Workers joining the nursing and midwifery workforce. This is to aid their integration and understanding of how a large acute hospital functions and gain an understanding of the fundamentals of care.

The Care Certificate workbook is introduced and support offered to aid completion to ensure our workforce has a firm understanding of the principles of care.
