Trina Wootton

Trina Wootton

Trina Wootton - Institute Office and Business Manager

I joined the Institute of Care Excellence in August 2021, previous to this I worked as an Admin Team Leader with Notts Healthcare for the Local Mental Health Team.

The majority of my career was spent working within secondary education in a number of roles from reception, data, to PA, marketing and office manager. I enjoy the sense of community and making a difference to people’s lives therefore joining the NHS embodied these values.

I work with a fantastic team of admin professionals and also the wider team within ICE.

I am passionate about admin and support services within the Trust and I'm a member of the ICE Shared Governance Council and also part of the Admin Network championing for this staff group.

Rebecca Taylor - Institute Communications Assistant

After gaining my BA Honours degree in Journalism and Public Relations I wasn’t sure where I wanted my career to lead. I started working at Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) in 2014 and have been at ICE since 2018. In 2021, I was appointed to the role of Institute Communications Assistant.

As Communications Assistant I create communications plans, design promotional materials/agendas/strategies/infographics, oversee ICE branding, manage social media and the ICE website and internal nursing intranet pages.

My proudest achievements since moving into this role include the creation of the new ICE website and designing the Nursing and Midwifery Strategic Plan 2022-2025.
